MONGOLIA, Welcome to the Land of Blue Sky (2002)

Mongolia was my first travel experience in a foreign country. For a first-timer independent traveler, Mongolia could not be a usual country to pick, considering the hardships and toughness required. The experience of being robbed twice in my first day in this country is another story of my life, which will never be erased from my mind. And I am really thankful that these robberies lead me to be a tough traveler, keep moving forward without fear.

The Mongol land, a huge country coated by the green grass carpet and covered by deep blue sky every day, and sometimes decorated by seven color rainbows, and accented by the dust from the trots of the nomads' horses... And it is here where you will learn what a journey does mean.

Mongolia, Selamat Datang di Negeri Langit Biru

Mongolia adalah pengalaman pertamaku menjelajah ke negeri asing. Untuk orang yang belum pernah bepergian sebelumnya, Mongolia bisa jadi bukan pilihan yang mudah. Pengalaman dua kali dirampok pada hari pertama di negeri ini merupakan cerita tersendiri yang takkan pernah terlupakan dalam hidupku. Dan aku bersyukur bahwa perampokan itulah yang membesarkanku dengan mengobarkan semangat berkelana tanpa ketakutan.

Negeri Mongolia, sebuah negeri yang selalu ditudungi langit biru kelam, sesekali dihiasi busur pelangi tujuh warna, serta debu yang dihentakkan oleh kaki-kaki kuda para pengembara... Dan di sinilah engkau akan mengerti arti sebuah perjalanan.
